In this article, we discuss an optimal loading for items with lifetimes described by failure models that are popular in reliability and statistics. The obtained results can be relevant, example, production/manufacturing systems. expected productivity the mission success probability maximized respect to value of a load. It is shown load considered settings not necessarily maximizes production rate. crucial function our discussion rate over that, depending on model, equal, smaller or larger than achieves maximum function. accelerated life proportional hazards considered, as well additive model. Illustrative examples confirm theoretical findings.
